Almost Wordless Wednesday
Each one of my students brought me a flower today to combine into a beautiful bouquet. Aren't they lovely!!!
Remember me blogging about how our caterpillars turned into larvae? Well, they hatched today!
Remember our real larvae? Here is one with a butterfly emerging.....
And here are the butterflies getting ready to fly out and explore the world!
Kindergarten can be such a magical year!
Beautiful roses!
Beautiful bouquet :o) And what a wonderful, fun-looking classroom!
Blessings & Aloha!

You're such a great teacher.
Happy Thursday!
Hey I came to check out the butterflies - I am sooo glad my son is not in your classroom right now - I might have to buy replacment butterflies when he was done --- lol.
Actually I would love for him to have you for a teacher - want to move to OKlahoma?
What beautiful flowers!
The butterflies just hatched in my son's preschool class and the kids were SO excited!
Beautiful Flowers!

I love that your students worked together to make your bouquet. I remember doing the butterfly project as a classroom teacher!
Thanks Ms. A,
I am going to take them home tonight and tell my husband I have a secret admirer. You think he will fall for that? Me either...sigh
Personalized,
I am a tad bit colorful to say the least when it comes to decorating my classroom. Some people prefer to wear sunglasses....lol
Le Chateau....
Thanks for your sweet comment! Hope you had a great day!
Hmmmmmm Carissa,
Something tells me that they wouldn't go for that...I better not push my luck...lol
Thanks Veronica....hope you had a wonderful day today!
Crystal,
I am checking into commuter flights as soon as I finish typing this comment....lol
Shell,
They DO love butterflies, don't they. My kids had so much fun making their own too. The things that look like sausages (larvae) have their egg carton caterpillar in them. They have big buddies in
4th grade that made the butterflies for them so we opened up the "larvae" so they would "hatch".
Thanks so much Amy ....you are so sweet! I appreciate it.
It is a great project isn't it JDaniel's Mom. I bet you miss teaching at times...but I know you love being home with your sweet son!
What a beautiful boquet :) And I love the projects - what fun!
Thanks Rene! The children really enjoyed them!
Your flowers are beautiful! And your kindergarteners will be flying off soon, too.....
the flowers are beautiful!
Seeing caterpillars turn to butterflies is great and even better when you can see it with a child.

What a great idea for the flower bouquet! I think maybe I will see if my daughter's class wants to do that on the last day of school!

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by my blog... www.momsbalancingact.com. I'm already one of your followers...great blog!
Visiting from FF. Had to become a new follower, since I was an elementary teacher before becoming a SAHM. Looking forward to reading more.
One more thing. People don't realize how importnant Kg is to a child and how much the teacher impacts a little ones life. I still remember the short haired blonde with red round rimmed glasses who's name was Mrs Slickenmyer. She would call us her Slick Chicks :) When I was in 1st-3rd grade I used to see her in the hall and my eyes would just light up! I would have to get out of line and run to give her a hug! I'm 26 years old now and I'm sure she doesn't even know that I still think of her once in awhile she was a great and memorble teacher as well as my 3rd grade teacher Mrs Hines. Because of those 2 I wanted to become a teacher. THat didn't happen though. It's ok because I'll be homeschooling my little ones soon :)
